Yesterday (Sunday 9th September) was another awesome day at the AJ Bell for Sharks v Warriors.
We were treated to matchday hospitality for the first home game of the 2018 / 2019 season. Following on from our invitation to the last game from the 2017 / 2018. We were always making the trip up regardless, facing neighbouring county Worcester’s Worcester Warriors.
There was a real buzz about the AJ Bell for the game, we knew the team had a point to prove after last week’s game against Quins. It was set up to be an awesome day, as always. Food was great, staff were brilliant and attentive, suite looked great and the UKFast people were awesome.
The match itself was a decent watch, we got a few photos from the game.

The last game we went to we were on the losing side, with so much at stake, however if you read our last blog it certainly did not spoil the day. Yesterday’s outing was, what I’m considering to be, a top (early) birthday gift from Sharks and UKFast! Not only the hospitality, which was, to me, enough anyway, but they even gave me a ball signed by the team! Very pleased with that, thank you very much for the gesture, just made a top day even better!

The plan was to bother the players after the game to get my ball signed. Yes, I have no shame in admitting I am a huge fan boy. Photos and autographs have as much appeal to me as they do to the kids. I don’t care! We did manage to collect autographs from Denny, Josh S and Josh B before we had to wait for the boys to finish eating and mingle, but I was kindly given a ball by Sharks and UKFast, as above. Pretty cool!
Not one to shy away from a challenge, I will get the ball covered in scribbles, as it isn’t the last game we’ll be going to!
