A very brief history of The DM Lab
2010 – the business was established, following a chance meeting and some unfortunate circumstances. One of the current directors had his first child due a week after a compulsory redundancy from long-term employment In the height of the recession. The business was formed out of necessity, having exhausted all possible employment options. The business was being overlooked in favour of more established businesses locally. We decided we would seek and grow our client base outside of the local area. This proved a real success. We gained credibility and respect locally as a result.
2014 – successfully rebranded to ‘The Digital Marketing Laboratory’ to reflect the change in business direction into the a focused, quality digital marketing agency.
2015 / 2016 – began working with more businesses locally as the brand and company further established itself.
2017 – won ‘Growing Business of the Year’ at the Herefordshire Business Awards. Increasing our client base to over 150 locally, nationally and even globally was recognised.
2018 – became one of Small Business Saturday’s #SmallBiz100 and took on an apprentice.
2019 – relocated into the city centre in a prime location.
2020 – our apprentice Harvey completed his course. He was awarded the highest grade of a Distinction.
