Herefordshire Business Awards 2018

Herefordshire Business Awards 2018

Last years’ inaugural Herefordshire Business Awards was awesome. The first of its kind in Hereford, plus we picked up an award. We’re all about helping other businesses, so this year we wanted to take our involvement a step further. Support the event and celebrate the range of great businesses, big and small, in our county.

We were back this year, sponsoring ‘Small to Medium Business of the Year’. The finalists were The Real Birth Company, The Hygienist and Certainly Wood. A very diverse selection of great local businesses. Just as there was in ‘Creative Business of the Year’, the category we were finalists in. Us, Shooting Reels and Pure Pole. Each unique, bringing a different facet of hard work and creativity to the table. Massive congratulations to Annie at Pure Pole for picking up the award this year. Don’t be too quick to judge, check out what Annie had to say about the accolade here.

Well done everyone, finalists and winners alike

Being shortlisted as 1 of 3 finalists in each category is an awesome achievement for any business. To be picked over all the other entrants is something. We want to congratulate all the winners and all the finalists. A fabulous evening in the company of great local businesses and people.

It was great catching up with old friends from last years’ event and making some new ones at this years! We’re talking about Field 2 Fork Catering who were on our table along with our friends Gareth and Briony from Caplor. Meeting our Twitter friends in person is always good, Sharon, we’re talking about you! Unfortunately we got caught up in the festivities so we didn’t get a chance to catch our fellow finalists (and winners) Pure Pole, the awesome Send Cake! And winners of our category The Real Birth Company.

Old friends and new faces

On the flipside we did see old and new faces at Lanyon Bowdler, Dan from Thorn Widgery and Ed from Shooting Reels – we did our best!

Matt Teale was great, he’s got time for everybody and it was cool chatting to you again. Keep training hard – if you fancy an ultramarathon with us, give us a shout. You’ll love it! The venue looked great, the live music was a nice touch this year too! Rich and team, well done guys! Bigger and better than last year, look forward to next years’ Herefordshire Business Awards!

We’re proud of being a finalist, as we’ve harped on in numerous blogs before this, we appreciate the recognition of our work.

Cheers everyone, we hope you all had a great night!
