Appearances Can Be Deceptive…

Society expects business people and sales people alike. True though isn’t it?! Suited, booted, clean shaven and tidy hair. Quite often this masks your real identity and your real personality. Pretending to be someone you are not in order to sell a product or service. Quite often you buy into the person first. This person is still the same person, offering the same service / product – regardless of how they look, no? You never get a second chance to make a first impression, even if it is not a true visual representation of who you really are.

We pride ourselves in the services we offer and the quality of work we produce – does it matter how we look? I mean we’re no Elephant Men  / Quasimodos or even Sloths, but we don’t exactly fit in the ‘professional business peoples’ appearance bracket. But does this matter? Designers, by trade, are allowed to be a little bit quirky and unique, but the MD has to look a certain way – you’d expect that. Think about this – the guys and girls who created Facebook and Google etc – you think they wore suits to do what they do?

It doesn’t matter really who you are or how you look. The fundamental point should be if you’re good at something let your work speak for you. You’ll never please everybody all of the time. Once you get to know us you’ll see we work hard, but we are generally quite relaxed, easy to get along with and our passion will become quickly apparent. Just don’t judge us on our appearance 😉
