Happy Roald Dahl Day!
You may have noticed a theme with our little competitions and giveaways – we base them on things that we love. Today’s is no different!
We grew up with the Roald Dahl books at primary school. George’s Marvellous Medicine, Fantastic Mr Fox, The Twits, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Matilda, James & The Giant Peach, The BFG. We could go on! Each so unique and quirky.
The Children’s Bookshelf
Now we’re old (!) and all grown up, we introduce a new audience to these timeless classic – our own children! As avid readers, our children are huge fans of what we feel is a little hidden gem here in Hereford which is The Children’s Bookshelf. A great place where every children’s book is only £2 each. All books are brand new and 100% original. They have books for Toddlers all the way up to 13 years +. Pocket money prices!
They have all sorts of pop up events and today is no different. Celebrating Roald Dahl Day after school from 3:30pm – 7:30pm with The Twits! Really will be worth a look so please check out their event here and share it if you’d be so kind. We want to make people aware of this great little shop that, shamefully, until only a couple of weeks ago – we had never heard of. Now that were familiar (and big fans) we wanted to help spread the word!
