They are coming thick and fast now.
As mentioned in a previous post, our new office is looking pretty bare so we want to fill it up with stuff we are proud of and most importantly we are a part of. This one epitomises that.
We got stuck into Breast Cancer Awareness month Back in October last year in two ways. Turning our website pink throughout October which actually looked pretty cool. We wore our DM Lab pink T-shirts – which were also pretty cool. Our pièce de résistance though was sponsoring a one off pink shirt for Luctonians’ ‘Lucs in Pink’ day. As massive rugby fans and avid sponsors in the community, this was definitely something we wanted to involve ourselves with.
The shirts were played in against Leicester Lions and immediately after the match they were auctioned off. All monies raised were donated to Breast Cancer Haven Hereford. A Staggering £6600 was raised from the 20 shirts.
Seeing our logo on the shirt was one thing, helping to raise that amount of money for such a great cause was another! Our logo was on the top left sleeve, we couldn’t quite get it to show on the shirt in the frame but it is there!
