Pink Shirt Day
Behind every great man is a woman. No more so than here at The Lab! Which is exactly why we’re doing what we can for Breast Cancer Awareness
We are getting involved in Breast Cancer Awareness month in 2 ways this year, firstly we sponsored Luctonians’ one-off pink shirts for their game on Saturday 14th October. These were auctioned off after the game raising over £6600 which is staggering! To fully immerse ourselves we’ll do what we can and this Friday is no different.
We’ll turn our website and social media channels pink for the rest of October. This Friday we have some pink T-shirts of our own to wear as part of Pink Shirt Day
We’ll wear them all day Friday, whether it’s in the office, at meetings or out to lunch. They look cool and it’s for a great cause. Such an easy thing to involve yourself and your workplace – just wear a pink T-shirt!
We’ll donate to this wonderful charity, and as we know, breast cancer does affect some men. As we have wives, daughters, mums and nans of our own, it is a charity that is there for the women in our lives. To those out there who need them when the ‘C’ word strikes. Something that nobody likes and nobody wants and if we can help in any tiny way, we will and we are.
We’ll even be popping down to Breast Cancer Haven Hereford’s branch at lunchtime on Friday to donate a little, not much but at least it’s something. If anyone wants to donate to them direct here’s a link:
If you want to chuck us a little something to add to our donation to take over Friday along with some goodies for the staff at Breast Cancer Haven Hereford it would be gratefully welcomed – not only by us but for the charity too!
