Just for a bit of fun, and as it’s Sandwich Day, thought we’d blog about our favourite type of sandwiches and fillings. We are heavily into diet, so sandwiches are a treat (we won’t bore you to death with carbohydrates etc – that can be for another time) so when they happen – they’re special!
Wraps are always a good shout – like a burrito (salad, mince, guacamole, salsa, sour cream, chilis), also nice is a Panini with mozzarella, pepperoni and jalapenos. Don’t really go much for a regular sandwich with bread, since they’re a treat they have to be something more than ‘just a sandwich’!
Another favourite wrap of ours is a breakfast wrap – scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, black pudding, mushrooms and onions. Unfortunately, due to our dietary constraints we can’t indulge in a favourite outlet of ours – Subway. Used to love a foot long cheese and steak melt with everything on hearty Italian bread.
This blog is tormenting us a bit as we now have completely lost focus and are having a debate about sandwiches and fillings.
