We are absolutely delighted to be announced as a finalist at the Midlands Business Awards!
We are one of the finalists in the Midlands Corporate Commitment to the Community Award 2019 category at the Midlands Business Awards! Something we are particularly proud of this as it’s not about the success of the business, it’s about what we do with our success.
We’ve always done what we can to support clubs and events in the local community since we started the business. We have a pretty successful micro business, run by just the two of us. We’ve learned many valuable lessons along the way. We’ve also learned that a little help goes a long way. No more so than our partnerships and sponsorships with clubs and events locally.
Nothing gives us more satisfaction than helping others and helping them to succeed. All the clubs we work with have been so appreciative and grateful for what we do for them. We’ve been lucky enough to support and play for them. We’ve also been lucky enough to be invited to hospitality days, events and opportunities as a result. These are all tokens of appreciation, not expected benefits. We’ve got on board with some great clubs and events and our goal is to help raise the profile of these clubs to the highest level.
It our desire for our county’s clubs and events to be the best they can be that drives us.
Not profit or advertising. To be recognised for what we strive to achieve (and what we’ve achieved already) at the Midlands Business Awards is amazing!
Despite our size, we do everything in our power (and budget) to help and give back to the local community. It was reward enough that recently we’ve been approached rather than actively seeking out clubs to help. This recognition that we can help gave us a real buzz. Now at a regional level we’ve been selected over hundreds of other applicants as a result of our efforts.
We’re proud to be a part of so many great clubs. We say it all the time and plaster it all over our social media channels as often as we can! It’s thanks to you guys letting us be a part in the capacities we are that have got us here. It’s early days yet, and we’re probably punching above our weight in the category. Whatever happens, this one is for you!
Thank you Luctonians Sports Club, Greyhound RFC, Belmont Wanderers RFC, Ledbury RFC, Circus Star, Seed Madagascar, Sundogs Festival and Lynsay at the Adelaide Law Foundation.
Thank you to the judges at the Midlands Business Awards for recognising our efforts in the community. It really means a lot.
We can’t wait for March to come around!
peak b launched the Small Business Community Impact research in 2018. Reading this, it’s great to see that giving back to and supporting the community is common among other businesses. After reading this we put together our own blog reflecting this research peak b carries out. Outlining what we do and the reasons why. Our other blog highlights exactly what it is we do in the community. This makes the achievement of becoming a finalist in this category all the more satisfying.
Knowing just doing something because we wanted to, and doing what we could with what we had has rewarded us with this selection. Even as we publish this blog, other exciting community based projects are in the pipeline!
