On July 20th – The DM Lab signed the Armed Forces Covenant!
Throughout the recent developments and partnership with NMITE, we have been given a further opportunity to help our country’s veterans. We are demonstrating our support for the Armed Forces Community and have formally signed the Armed Forces Covenant.
The courses we’ll be providing are based around helping veterans’ on their entrepreneurial journey. Showing them how to take their offering to market. However, as with most startups – they are unlikely to have the capital to development their product or service. We can help create a digital presence of their own to help themselves.
We have created a framework we’ll be offering the veterans to use. Furthermore, we’ll be holding and hosting digital courses on building a website using WordPress. Why WordPress? The patform is arguably the best open-source platform available and already powering 30% of the internet’s websites.
The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly. The AFC relies on the people, communities, and businesses of the UK to actively support it in order to make a difference.
The DM Lab is proud to be a part of this and offer our support to veterans and those serving alike.
We’ll be sharing our expertise and experience to allow veterans to create a low-cost but excellent web presence. If you’d be interested in website building 101, you are more than welcome to receive information too. Please get in touch to find out more.
An exciting step for us. Furthermore we have been researching new ways to give back and support where we can. After what’s been a very unusual first half of 2020! Couple that with us recently turning 10 – we really did want to do something of significant value as celebrating this milestone has been somewhat limited!
