It has been a very unusual, testing year to run a business…Any business!
Despite the challenges that trying to run a small business through a global pandemic has thrown up, we’re still going! Yes, we’ve been quiet lately, but fortunately that’s because we’re busy. We’re fortunate and grateful to be just that. Our amazing clients have stood by us as we have stood by them. Helping each other through these uncertain times. It has been tough, especially as we fall into the ‘forgotten’ bracket. As many others have experienced, we are yet to receive any significant help from the government. However, we’ve almost made it through the end of a very testing year regardless…On our own!
If we’ve learned anything over the last few months, it is that the British entrepreneurial spirit is not easily extinguished.
Indeed, it has remained resilient, agile and dynamic despite previously inconceivable difficulty. For many – companies young and old – it has been a baptism of fire with some of the worst accelerants imaginable. It was a perfect storm that few – if any – were prepared for. Yet, as we’re seeing now, many have emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic on steady legs and ready to face the remainder of the year (and beyond).
The Business Elite recognises SMEs of all sizes and across the UK who are endeavouring to bettering business in their industries.
