My first week as the new apprentice has been an enjoyable working experience. It certainly has been an experience so far. A week full of learning, having to learn a brand-new skill set for the job. I was thrown straight into the deep end being given a website to redesign.

Our finest work with regards to logo and branding has got to be our own. We are immensely proud of what we’ve built. Both the brand and the message, everything has been thought out with a purpose in mind.
We were fortunate enough to work with the guys who launched LeftFest back in 2016. For this, the organisers needed a poster to dot about the county and further. This was what we came up with, one our favourites, even today!
When it comes to design, we’re pretty adaptable - our portfolio also includes photograph restoration. From large format and business stationery, to 3D rendered graphics and even photograph restoration.
Our design work comes in all shapes and sizes. By shapes we mean portrait or landscape orientation. By sizes we mean from business cards right up to canvas banners, pop-up banners and even exhibition displays.
The DM Lab would like to introduce to you our newest recruit - Harvey! Harvey is the newest addition to The DM Lab team. We worked with The Development Manager to recruit Harvey as an apprentice. He is a young upcoming star.
We are capable of producing any kind of graphic, illustration or design. We do have a style, a unique, honed style, but this is not a limiting factor. As you can see by the video below, we’ve been fortunate to be involved in all manner of projects.
We’re quite adaptable when it comes to graphic design services. If you’ve scrolled through our graphic design work on our projects page, you may think ‘we’re too this’ or ‘we’re too that’. You’d be wrong!
The DM Lab are proud sponsors of the ‘Small to Medium Business of the Year’ Just one of the categories at the Herefordshire Business Awards 2018 After being in business for 8 years, 4 of those being as The DM Lab, last year saw us pick up our first award.
Last year we were lucky enough to pick up an award at the Sunshine Radio Pride Awards 2017 for ‘ Entrepreneur / Business of the Year ’. Very unexpected based on who we were up against! However very gratefully received, and the Sunshine Radio Pride Award is still proudly displayed on our wall in our office.

Since summer 2018 keeps on giving, in both a weather and event context, we’ll keep taking! Saturday It was another scorcher this weekend and with loads going on, we had to start early to cram it all in.
As we’ve mentioned previously, we offer design AND print under one roof, thanks to Printed.com. Fortunately this service has been widely well received and we have successfully undertaken a significant number of print jobs since we joined in May 2017.
Another busy weekend this weekend gone for us! Since summer is here and apparently not just for a day or two like summers past, we are making the very most of it! Supporting local events and organisations while also spending time with our families.
Shobdon Food and Flying Festival This weekend saw the annual Shobdon Food and Flying Festival return to Shobdon Airfield for 2018. The sun was game for the weekend at least! We had to decide which day to visit and opted for the Sunday.
