If you have a website, then you are either advertising yourself or selling a product. If your website is poorly designed or visually unappealing then it is a misrepresentation of yourself and could be costing you money.
Well, I don’t consider myself a punk, but the scene is cool. I am however a huge fan of punk music! Big fan of ‘pop punk’ growing up (New Found Glory, NOFX and Blink-182 to name a few) but there was a proper punk band that I have been a massive fan of since forever.
Here at the Lab, we are very diverse team, no one person is the same as the other. Music for example, if we have the radio on, something will come that one of us can’t stand, but the other likes, and vice versa.
Digital marketing is such an exciting industry to work in. All the time methods are evolving, Google keeps us on our toes with algorithm changes, so you can never stay comfortable for long. It's impossible to know everything all of the time, it's all about learning, understanding and adapting techniques.
AS I GET OLDER, MY HANDWRITING HAS DETERIORATED SO BAD THAT IT JUST LOOKS LIKE SQUIGGLES. I USE A COMPUTER FAR MORE THAN I WRITE SO JUST OUT OF PRACTISE I SUPPOSE. HOWEVER I DO FIND THAT WHEN I DO WRITE THINGS DOWN, IT DOES TEND TO BE IN CAPITAL LETTERS
Here’s an interesting fact if you didn’t already know it - apple seeds contain cyanide, a powerful poison. Eating too many apple seeds can potentially be fatal but the dose of toxins in an apple is small enough that your body can easily detoxify it.
I, for one, am terrible at downloading and saving files straight to the desktop. They are easy to access instead of, you know, My Computer > Local Disk > work directory, work file. I’m so unintentionally lazy, but then come the end of the day or week if I’m being super lazy, I’ve got a full desktop with things saved on there I can’t even remember what they were for!

It's an interesting question! 100 years ago design was very crude. No disrespect is meant or intended, but it wasn't up to much. It was what is was. If you saw a design from 1914, you'd instantly realise it was from the early 1900s.
So, The Walking Dead is back tonight! We are massive fans here at the Lab and we were thinking - what if there was a zombie outbreak here in the UK? What would happen? How long would YOU last? Here’s our guess at how things would go down should that happen.

In a bid to secure some potentially huge work, we opted to develop a project without agreeing a cost or contract or indeed clients’ approval to go ahead with any work whatsoever. Instead we worked on the basis that the end product was something a potential client needed and therefore being able to generate a sale there and then.
Content is King! We’ve all seen and done it - produced a design content mock up for a client. Populated it with dummy text and images. Client loves it, sends over their pictures and content. Sadly that’s often where things go wrong.

We are having a nostalgic day at the Lab today as it’s ‘Video Game Day’, and that’sthe inspiration for this blog! We were reminiscing about back in the day when we didn’t have the amazing PS4 and Xbox One, but we had humble consoles with cartridges and / or tapes.
